Highly recommended! My husband and I had a lot of fun, the instructors were patient and so friendly, I like that they also include the history behind dances, very educational! Will definitely sign up for bachata lessons to start!
Alejandro Rojas started teaching in 2001 but he always felt he
had a knack for teaching even before this. He grew up dancing and
performing in Chilean folklore for many years between the ages of
10-14. At the age of 18 , Alejandro began frequenting the Latin
nightclubs and it was here where he found his passion. Watching
other dancers, he quickly picked up the steps of the most seasoned
dancers in the club. Wanting to further his knowledge of the Latin
dances, he joined dance teams and after travelling to Los Angeles
to the largest Salsa convention in the world at the time, he was
humbled to the plethora of amazing dancers present at the
convention. Since that experience, Alejandro knew that Salsa would
become a huge phenomenon around the world so he decided to start
teaching his newly found artform. That was 2001 and today Alejandro
has opened up his first Latin dance studio in Edmonton with amazing
reception and results!
