Salsa Caliente Private Lesson Studio

First, I showed Erika what I learned from other Basic Salsa dance classes in other schools in the local Tampa area, and she said to forget it all as we were starting over.  Apparently, my basic steps and form were off.  Next, she then proceeded to instruct me on correcting my technique, including, but not limited to, paying attention to the timing of the music, feeling the beat and counting the counts, which is imperative if one is prepared and given to dance Salsa the right way.  With that said, private lessons work for me because of Erika's one-on-one individualized attention and patience, as opposed to being one of many fellow dance students in a large group class, who may not be fortunate to nail down basic steps, and form, prior to being rushed into styling techniques before one is ready.  I definitely look forward to continuing learning my lessons in private!

Erika was very patient with my boyfriend and I as we needed a quick crash course on Salsa for a wedding a few days later. She was very great at breaking things down to show you each step, and had incredible patience for us rookies.  We came into the lesson completely clueless but with her slow pace and guidance we were able to leave the lesson understanding enough basics to feel confident at the wedding. Thanks Erika! We highly recommend her and plan on doing more lessons with her in the future.

Erika is an excellent teacher.  She breaks things down in a very understandable manner and seems to have an endless reserve of patience.  I cant wait until the next lesson.

Erika provides the absolute best, technique based instruction in Tampa.  Beyond being a motivating teacher, she is empathetic and patient which results in a very comfortable learning experience.  Erika is a problem solver and can relate to a student on an individual level and develop a curriculum that is comfortable and achievable for an advanced student or a beginner.  Erika is just as incredible of a teacher as she is as a performer.  Hands down, this will be the most rewarding and enjoyable private instruction available for an extremely fair price.  Highly recommended!!!!
