Professional Flamenco Performer & Instructor, Troupe Leader. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, I started dancing flamenco at age twelve with Diana Patricia “La Macarena “till I moved to the United States to study International Business at Eckerd College and an MBA at USF. Since regaining my passion for Flamenco I have taken classes in the Tampa Bay area from two teachers, Maria Sevilla y Carolina “La Candela”, I have completed workshops in Miami taught by teachers from Spain including Madarro and a workshop in Panama with the very talented and acclaimed Anita Loynaz. In the past I performed for six years with Carolina “la Candela” Dance Company and two years as part of the dance crew at Columbia Restaurant in Tampa. For the past nine years I have been performing with Sombras Flamencas at several venues including the Dali Museum and private events such as weddings and galas. I am currently performing Flamenco at our monthly show at Spain Restaurant in down town Tampa. I also dance with Kafkasso, local neuvo-flamenco world fusion band.Over the past several years, my troupe Alma y Fuego Flamenco has grown out of my student classes and performs professionally all over Florida.  I love inspiring them and seeing them grow, from stages with live music to Latin festivals, we build passion, community, and spread the joy of our art form!
