About the Appointment
Select this option if this is your first float at Sukhino, and you have not yet purchased a pass and you are using a gift certificate. Note that a credit card is required to hold the spot for you. Floating provides a unique opportunity to disconnect from the five senses and turn inward for a truly relaxing experience. You'll step into our spacious Wave Float Room with about 10 inches of water, warmed to your external body temperature. As you lie back into the water, you'll float effortlessly with over 1000 pounds of magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) to keep you afloat. You can choose to keep the lights on or off, and listen to music or relish in silence, as you drift into a sense of comfort and stillness. Expect to spend about an hour and a half for your appointment, with a few minutes to check in, shower, float, and then shower again before you re-dress.
Special Instructions
Your float time is up to 75 minutes, with the option to upgrade to 90 minutes, PLUS time to shower before and after your float. Please do not float if: You have recently colored or treated your hair and the water does not run clear, or if the color leaves any indication on a white towel. You have open sores, cuts, lesions, or a new tattoo that has not healed completely. Salt in open wounds does not feel great! For the best experience, we recommend that you: Avoid shaving or waxing the day of your appointment if you tend to get razor burn or have sensitive skin. Do NOT wear a swimsuit. You have a private room, and anything you wear on your body can be distracting or uncomfortable. Bring any special toiletries you prefer to use after a shower. We'll cover the basics (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dyer, and some styling and specialty products), but if you have a fave, feel free to bring it. Please remember to bring your gift certificate with you.
