De-Stress Deep Stretch

About the Class

In this once-monthly class we will breathe and stretch through releasing physical and mental tension build-up that naturally and subconsciously accumulates as we near the end of one month, and begin the next. Class will start with a short meditation and pranayama (breathwork) to ground and center, followed by a series of asanas (poses) which will be held for 2-5 minutes each. This allows enough time for the mind to settle, the body to trust, and the muscle to reach beyond what we believe are our limits. You'll leave feeling longer, looser, stronger, and maybe even taller! Most of this class is on the floor, and anyBODY can participate. Modifications/chairs will always be available, even if you cannot sit on the floor.
