

Hybrid: meaning this class is offered online and in studio Gentle Iyengar Yoga Mondays and Thursdays at 10:00am Online and in-person You want to move with more ease. You want to feel steady in your body again. You want a class that meets you where you are. This Gentle Iyengar Yoga class is built for you if you are 65+ and: • You are new to yoga • You have not practiced in a while • You want a slower pace with clear guidance • You want support with strength, balance, and mobility What you will do in class • Practice traditional Iyengar Yoga with a gentle approach • Build strength in your legs, hips, and core • Work on getting down to the floor and back up with more ease • Improve posture and stability through simple, repeatable actions Props make this class feel possible We use chairs, blocks, belts, blankets, and bolsters to support your body. You do not have to force flexibility. You learn how to place your body well and breathe. Good to know • Headstand and Shoulderstand are not practiced in this class • You can join in-person or online and still get clear instruction In order to receive notifications from the studio including your zoom links and class recordings, you must be signed up for notifications. You can find this setting in your account > My Profile > Notifications tab. Under notifications make sure you have schedule and reminders, account management and news and updates set to “ON.” If you have them on and still do not receive notifications you need to check your junk mail account. If you still do not recieve the class link or recording please email the studio, bks-info@tx.rr.com We currently do not require masks or proof of vaccination for those attending classes in studio. We do ask that if you are not feeling well please stay home and take an online class.
