Come start your journey with a slower-paced Yoga; or learn new modifications that aid in where you need to be at this moment. This candlelit beginner/intermediate level class begins with a pranayama (breathing technique) intended to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system. We will practice basic postures with the option to go deeper. Poses are held for a moderate length of time to create awareness in the mind and body. After a relaxing cool down, class will conclude with a Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a practice designed to induce a deep state of relaxation and tap into the subconscious and unconscious. You will leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready to face your week. This class is a great way to include meditation into your daily practice!
