About the Class

Beginner/Intermediate level classes bridge the gap between beginner and intermediate dance classes, catering to high-beginner dancers and low-Intermediate dancers. Students should have 2 to 3 years of consistent, recent dance training on the specific style of the class.    Ballet is a classical dance form that emphasizes grace, precision, and strength, focusing on controlled movements, posture, and technique. In this class, students will learn foundational steps, including pliés, tendus, and arabesques, while building flexibility, balance, and poise. Ideal for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills, ballet provides a strong foundation for all dance styles.   Class Structure:  Warm-up: Gentle exercises to prepare the body and activate core muscles. Barre Work: Traditional barre exercises focusing on port de bras and core strength. Center Technique: Adagio, pirouettes, petit allégro, and grand allégro, emphasizing control and technique. Musicality and Choreography: Explore combinations set to both classical and contemporary music, enhancing musicality and expression
