Ilinca Oprescu is a professional dancer and choreographer who began her dance journey at the age of 3 with ballet. She discovered Latin dance at 10 and expanded into social dance styles like salsa, bachata, Argentine tango, and west coast swing in her twenties. A Romanian national finalist and Canadian national youth bronze medalist, Ilinca has over 20 years of teaching experience and is recognized as a wedding dance expert. She currently serves as the Latin Program Director at Star Dance Centre, where she combines her extensive teaching expertise with her leadership experience in operations.In addition to her work at Star Dance Centre, Ilinca is actively involved in community events. In both 2023 and 2024, she, along with her celebrity partners, was awarded the "Best in Dance Show" trophy at the *Prancing with the Stars* event, contributing to its success in raising significant funds for the Oakville & Milton Humane Society.
