Alex started his training in circus arts in 2019. He was mesmerized by the combination of mobility, strength and artistry in the sport, finding his new passion. Alex joined a performance circus team in his hometown, London, ON. He has been able to perform for corporate and community events, specializing in clowning, hand-to-hand, and dance trapeze. Alex has been coaching circus arts for two years, and after receiving his gymnastics foundations and theory training in 2022, he also began coaching gymnastics. Now, Alex is studying therapeutic recreation at the University of Waterloo and is excited to join the Brass Butterflies team. In his free time outside of the circus world, Alex enjoys cooking and hiking.
