In 2020, he entered the transition process with the group Maculelê Capoeira and received his Professor belt in 2022. Andrés has participated in multiple Capoeira events in Colombia and Brazil, such as competitions, graduations and formation events. Andrés says "Capoeira to me represents happiness, and I want to share that happiness with the world by working to make the art grow and become more known by the people. Capoeira as a tool, helps to explore all the capacities and skills that your body can develop, improving strength, flexibility, power, mental health, coordination and music skills, creating new connections with people and culture."
