About the Class

This class is a fun structured introduction to classical dance, blending technique with creativity. The class begins with a warm-up and gentle stretching to prepare young dancers' bodies, followed by foundational exercises at the barre to develop balance, strength, and coordination. In the center, students practice basic positions, turns, and jumps, building confidence and grace in their movements. Across-the-floor exercises introduce traveling steps, leaps, and expressive movement, encouraging creativity and musicality.
