“I didn't take dance as a kid.” “I started late.” “I'm not a trained dancer.” That's okay! No matter what style of dance you want to learn - Burlesque, Bellydance, Heels - there are foundations that need to be set. It's never too late to learn the techniques that will support your body, protect your joints, and help you in every dance class you take. At Soul On Fire our goal is not just to get you dancing, but to keep you dancing safely for a long time, and understanding the fundamentals of movement and alignment prevents injury and helps you gain confidence in your body. Each month you will learn something new and different - so you can spend several weeks mastering the basics of one style before moving on to another the next month! During class we will break down a technique style such as jazz, modern, ballet, etc. and then put each of those pieces into choreography to see what it's like in motion!
