About the Class

Have the basics of Tribal, and are ready for more? This playful, earthy format is perfect for dancers who love moving and working together. Challenge yourself to hone your technique, as well as your awareness of the dancers around you.  Learn to be sensitive and responsive to your environment, instead of reactive, as we play with this improvisational way of group coordination!  Djinn Zoo format was founded by Johanna as ‘Loud Zoo’ style in 2001, is based in moves from the Global Caravan format, and continues to evolve today, as dance does, under the direction of Marcy Skiff & co-directed by Jen Cudney. Participation is by invitation after showing proficiency in Level 1.  Dancers are encouraged to keep attending Level 1 classes to keep working on their dance!   Sundays @ 2:15pm and Mondays @ 8pm
