About the Appointment
Dovetail Studios will provide private use of studio facilities for dance instruction, choreography and party time for food, cake, presents, etc. Parties are 90 minutes long, unless otherwise requested. The focus of the dance instruction is up to the discretion of the instructor who will develop a curriculum based upon the party theme chosen in the contract. For birthday parties, Dovetail Studios supplies: dance instruction, tables, chairs, access to refrigeration for perishable goods. Dovetail Studios will not provide table cloths or paper goods. For birthday parties, parents/guardians supply: food (please note, nothing can be heated up), decorations, table cloths, cutlery, paper products, set up Parents/Guardians are invited to arrive 45 mins before party time for set up and organization. Dovetail staff will set up tables and chairs and be available to assist with prep. At this time, Parent/Guardians will be greeted by dance instructor(s) and Dovetail staff who will be available to help with set up. Dovetail staff will have extra supplies (plates, napkins, etc.) if needed, but all theme supplies must be brought into the studio at Parent/Guardians discretion. Renters will have 30 minutes after party to clean up and vacate space. Dovetail will be responsible for taking out garbage and putting Dovetail owned equipment away. Only immediate family is allowed in the room during dance instruction unless party includes parental participation. Dovetail is sensitive to the needs of children who may need some parental assistance but to keep the party on track with little distractions, parents can observe from viewing area in the lobby. Host parents may use the lobby for food and drink for non-participating guests. Reservations are required 3 weeks prior to party date by contacting Dovetail Studios front desk. Deposit needed upon reservation. Payment can be made via cash, check or credit card. Cancellations can be made 10 days prior to event, otherwise, deposit is forfeited .
