Mia was born and raised in Miamisburg, OH. She grew up dancing on competitive stages across the Midwest and received her training from All That Dance under the guidance of Laura Baker, Olivia Fisher, Freddie Fourie, and more, including guest artists such as Destiny Rogers and Andrew Turteltaub. Mia continued her dance education at The Ohio State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance, with a minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship in May 2020. She has been selected for a multitude of performance opportunities, two of which allowed her to perform abroad in Denmark and Brazil. Mia is currently a team member with TRIBE Dance, an intimate dance intensive, assisting faculty, including Seth Robinson, Jeff Wolfe, Maddie Baker, Callie Croom, and more, as well as teaching contemporary, jazz, and improv classes. Mia is also thrilled to be a part of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company's second company in 2021. Additionally, she is on staff at Streetz Dance Convention and Competition.
