Welcome to Vertical Vibes! This class bridges the gap between Level 2 and Level 3, providing a comprehensive focus on basic inverts. Designed as a prerequisite for Level 3, Vertical Vibes is the perfect place to deepen your understanding and mastery of inverting techniques. In this class, we’ll dive deeply into the foundational inverts covered in Level 2. Be prepared for a majority of the class to be spent in an upside-down orientation, as we emphasize proper technique, strength building, and fluidity. By the end of the course, you'll have a solid grasp of these essential moves, setting you up for success in Level 3 and beyond.
When preparing for class, it's important to bring a few specific items to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Here's a list of what to consider bringing: Clothing: Shorts: These are typically recommended because they allow for better grip on the pole. Choose something you feel comfortable moving and stretching in. Footwear: Bare Feet or Sock: No shoes are allowed in the lobby and pole room. Depending your preference, you might go barefoot or bring socks to wear in the lobby and pole room. Yoga Mat: Useful for warm-up routines, floor exercises or stretching Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is important, so bring a water bottle to class. We have a station to refill your water bottles. Hair Tie (optional): Keep your hair tied back to avoid it getting in your face while dancing. Open Mind and Positive Attitude: Pole dancing can be physically challenging but also incredibly empowering and fun. Approach the class with an open mind and a positive attitude to make the most of your experience.
