Welcome to Sassy Boots! This isn’t your grandma’s line dancing. You’ll learn both well-loved routines and lesser-known gems, with an emphasis on some spicier songs and dances that may be less commonly seen at local events. You may also see occasional original choreography debuted. Dancers are also encouraged to request songs and dances for future classes. Dancers have the opportunity to practice everything they’ve learned during Sassy Studio’s line dance nights. What to Expect Each Week 1–2 dances per class, depending on complexity Occasional speed-teaches for shorter, repetitive dances Reviews of previous dances learned A blend of popular dances and less common selections Step sheets provided every week Songs and dances may occasionally be on the spicier side What to Wear Clothing you can move in Encouraged: pretty, fun, or expressive outfits that make you feel confident Clean dance shoes recommended, e.g. boots, jazz shoes, ballroom shoes, dance sneakers, or anything with a smooth sole - you want to be able to turn smoothly Loaner over-shoe dance socks available if needed All skill levels and comfort levels are welcome! You are highly encouraged to bring a water bottle.
