Dance Studio

This multi-genre dance class is a celebration of joy across the
Black diaspora. We’ll move through the infectious rhythms of the
Caribbean, the pulsing energy of Detroit-style house music, the
funk and attitude of hip hop, and the feel-good grooves of reggae
and R&B.
Come ready to sweat, let loose, and connect with movement that
honors the vibrancy and resilience of the diaspora culture
worldwide. All levels welcome—just bring an open heart and your
energy!

Classes

Shea Butter Groove - Shape Up NYC

Welcome to Fit4Dance Studio, where dance meets community in a
spacious and inviting environment. Spanning over 4,000 square feet,
our studio boasts ample space for movement and connection. Step
into our large reception area, where you'll be greeted with warmth
and enthusiasm by our friendly staff.
Inside, you'll find two well-equipped dance studios, each
designed to accommodate a variety of classes and workshops. With
air conditioning/heating throughout the facility, you'll always
feel comfortable and ready to dance, no matter the season.
For your convenience, we offer lockers and multiple bathrooms,
ensuring that you have everything you need to make the most of your
time at the studio. Whether you're here for a quick dance session
or an extended practice, we've got you covered.
In addition to our dance amenities, we provide yoga and Pilates
mats for those looking to expand their fitness routine. And with
our convenient location close to public transportation—just a short
distance away from the 2/5/B/Q at Church Ave and the B41, B44,
& B49 bus lines—you can easily access our studio from anywhere
in the city.
