Marcus is a name synonymous with grace, precision, dynamics, and talent in the world of Mambo on 2. As the founder, co-owner, and instructor of Salsa Salsa Dance Studio, he has earned his reputation as a phenomenal dancer, exceptional mentor, and savvy businessman.His Mambo journey began in 1998 under the guidance of Carlos Vasquez, owner of La Salsa De Hoy Dance Studio in Brooklyn. Since then, Marcus has trained with several renowned dancers, including the legendary Eddie Torres. He has performed on numerous stages, screens, and in publications throughout New York and New Jersey, with appearances alongside Arelis Beato’s Tropical Image Dance Team and Marisol Ramirez of Latin Fever Dance Studio.Marcus is known for his ability to make any student feel comfortable and confident, regardless of their dance background or experience level. In 2004, he channeled his passion and expertise into founding Salsa Salsa Dance Studio, where he continues to help students unlock their fullest potential. As noted in a 2008 interview with BCAT television, “Whether you’re a mambo master or a salsa square, Marcus has the right moves to set the inner dancer within you free.”
