Salsa Level 2

About the Class

Once you are comfortable with the fundamental basic steps, LET'S GET THE PARTY STARTED! To reinforce your timing and partner work skills, we build on what you have already learned in Level 1. We focus on the importance of leading and following on the dance floor so you will be able to dance socially with anyone with confidence and ease.  The first 15 min of class you will learn more fundamental steps, partnering connection, rhythm, and salsa musical timing. Then we start implementing other techniques into your lessons, including proper posture, frame, and weight transfers. And we’ll add some flashy steps and learn how to link short and easy-to-lead turn patterns on the dance floor.  Prerequisite: Successfully complete our Salsa Level 1 assessment. Recommended time to learn the Level 2 curriculum: 6-12 months.  Students must book a free level assessment to determine if they are ready to enter Salsa Level 3.
