About the Event

Description AGES 5-7 1 DAYS PER WEEK FOR 1 HOUR 15 MINUTES Ballet I begins the ballet sequence of the curriculum. Basic barre work, proper placement, ballet etiquette, center combinations of allegro (jumping) patterns and simple series of patterned steps and vocabulary are introduced.  Dress Code for Ballet I: Girls: Burgundy tank or camisole leotard, skin tone tights, and skin tone ballet shoes. Hair should be put into a neat bun. If hair is too short to put up, it should be clipped and pulled back away from the face. Boys: Black tights, black or white shoes, white socks, white tank shirt, dance belt - for boys ages 9 and older.
