Spine School is a class designed to bring whole body awareness to physical movement through exercises and principles that enhance fluidity and strength. This class prepares the body for movement through spinal motions, psoas activation and strengthening the mental connection of the kinetic chain relationship to the body. Participants will be led through basic functional exercises that work the joints and muscles to discover ways of moving that expand the body and develop an ease in physical expression. The exercises are low impact and performed with purpose to incorporate breath technique and optimal nervous system function. No dance experience required. Props provided but please bring a large bath towel.
