About the Appointment

Come get a mini lesson and a tour of the school to find out if Axon is the right fit for you. This is the time for the potential student, and their parents, if the students are childen, to meet with the owner and instrucotr of the school, 5th Degree Black Belt Yat-Yee Chong, and to discuss expectations.  Every martial arts school has its priorities. Some schools specialize in grooming competitors . Others provide the energy of big classes. Still others place emphases on sparring and being ready for street fighting.  Axon Martial Arts Academy is for those who seek a nurturing environment that doesn't care if someone is 20 years old and hugely talented or a middle-aged beginner with creaky knees. We accept students where they and help them make progress on their own pace. To make sure every student gets the attention they need, our classes are small: 12 is the maximum number of a class; 6 in the case of our classes for those ages 4-7.
