DC Aikido Martial Arts Academy

Ryan is the owner and one of the instructors at DC Aikido Martial Arts.  He has been training in Aikido and other martial arts since 2010, and currently holds a 3rd degree black belt in Aikido.  Ryan began his Aikido study right here at DC Aikido, and took over operations of the school in 2014.  Ryan officially took over the ownership of the school in 2018, and has been working diligently to continue evolving the school and the staff to meet the growing and diverse needs of the community here in Washington DC."I believe the most important component in any successful martial arts school, is the community.  No one makes it to a black belt on their own, or transforms their life in a meaningful way through study in the martial sciences.  We are strong individually, because we work and grow together collectively.
