Chuan Fa Martial Arts Academy

Chuan Fa Academy is a self defense school focused on traditional Chinese self defense training. Teaching practical straight forward down to earth street self defense. We train children as well as adults. Students train in both group and private sessions. Each student is given plenty of time with the head instructor in order to address that individual's personal training and progress throughout the system. Group sessions are focused on application and understanding of subtleties in any self defense situation. Located in Kansas City's Waldo neighborhood Chuan Fa Academy is a traditional neighborhood dojo. Community and family driven we aspire to create a safe, fun, family atmosphere for students to feel comfortable learning effective self defense in a traditionally laid back family setting.
