About the Class

Calm & Clarity: Guided Meditation for Whole-Body Wellness Settle into a supportive space designed to help your nervous system downshift and your mind refocus. This guided meditation session is intentionally structured to reduce stress, improve regulation, and prepare you to move into your weekend feeling steady and restored. Sessions may incorporate evidence-informed techniques such as Yoga Nidra, body scanning, progressive muscle relaxation, and breathwork. Each practice is selected to support parasympathetic activation — helping your body shift out of “fight or flight” and into a state of rest, repair, and presence. Potential Benefits of a Consistent Meditation Practice: • Improved stress management and emotional regulation • Greater self-awareness and mental clarity • Enhanced focus and present-moment attention • Reduction in negative thought patterns • Increased patience, resilience, and creativity Research suggests meditation may also support symptom management for individuals experiencing: • Anxiety • Chronic pain • Depression • High blood pressure • Sleep disturbances • Tension headaches • Digestive concerns such as IBS • And other stress-related conditions While meditation is not a replacement for medical care, it can serve as a valuable complementary practice within a comprehensive wellness plan. At Me Time LLC, we believe whole-body wellness integrates physical care, mental clarity, and community support. This class is one way we intentionally create space for all three.

Special Instructions

If you are coming in person, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time in order to use the bathroom, set up your spot, and settle in for class. If you will be participating via Zoom, the waiting room is enabled to check in about 5 minutes prior to start time.  If you have any physical restrictions or medical conditions that limit your movement, please talk to your instructor prior to the class to determine if and what modifications may be called for in order for you to get the most out of class. Of course, all are welcome to come in and participate! If you feel that you are beginning to experience symptoms of illness (cough, sniffles, fever, etc.) please respect the other participants and the staff and do not attend the class. Your body may require all it's energy to fight off the infection and we thank you for your efforts to not spread contagious conditions. You will not be charged for missing class due to illness. Online booking for classes ends 3 hours prior to the class start time. If you would like to book your spot within those 3 hours, please call (334-770-0419) or message (334-336-0700) the studio to verify there is space and have our staff prepare a spot for you.
