Enzyme exfoliation benefits (depending on specific enzyme used): - Softening and exfoliation - Lightening and brightening - Anti-aging - Antioxidant - Firming and toning - Hydrating and moisturing - Resurface and refine pores Before your enzyme exfoliation treatment: - For optimal results discuss your home care routine with your skin care professional.  Home care that matches your skin care needs will prepare and acclimate your skin for treatment services. - We recommend using a cleanser that matches your skin type, an active exfoliant (such as retinol or glycolic), a moisturizer that matches your skin type, and a daily SPF for at least one week prior to receiving this treatment for optimal results. After your enzyme exfoliation treatment: - It is important to continue using the recommended home care after receiving this treatment to maintain your results. - Wear SPF daily Recommended Frequency of Treatment: - Enzyme exfoliation may be performed up to once per week. - A series of treatments (usually a series of 6) may be needed to build the desired results. - Enzyme exfoliation treatments may be used to prepare your skin for future chemical peel treatments. Contraindications: - It is important to disclose accurate information on your intake form so that your skin care professional can determine the optimal treatment for you. - Each enzyme has a unique profile and will need to be analyzed individually to determine if it is an option for you. - Couperose skin and rosacea - Pregnancy and breastfeeding or lactation (some enzymes are safe for pregnant and lactating women, but not all of them)
