The Aura House - Bolton
Hello! I am a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, Naturaly Nutrition Clinical Practitioner, Health & Wellness Coach and Yoga Teacher (Hatha/Yin trained). My yoga journey started about 7 years ago when I attended a yoga basics program at Kula Yoga studio. From there, I fell in love with the practice! I became enthralled with the stillness and quiet it brought me, along with the challenge I felt both physically and mentally. In 2018 I completed my 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training with the sole intention of deepening my practice. However, after sitting in the seat of the teacher, I realized I had a passion for guiding students who are craving the same things I was - connection, balance, quiet, stillness.... Students in my classes can expect a gentle and mindful yoga class that focuses on alignment based and breath awareness cues to foster a space where students can slow down & tune introspectively. I believe there is beauty in stillness and slowing down, as we spend so much of our day rushing and focusing on the outside world. Providing students with a space where they can slow down, tune in and tune out the world is such an honour. I offer private gentle yoga & yin yoga classes for folks interested in learning the foundations of yoga, who want to deepen their practice and who want to feel fully supported on their mat. In my nutrition work, I focus on using the 3 pillars of 1) nutrition, 2) mindfulness and 3) movement to support folks struggling with digestive imbalances, nervous system disregulation & stress. I specialize in working from an anti-diet approach to heal your relationship with food and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for your body.Together you will focus on:nutritional recommendationslifestyle considerationsgentle movementhabit building & behaviour changesmindfulness practiceshealing your relationship with foodstress reduction techniquesgetting to know, understand & appreciate your bodyenvironmental changesself-esteem & confidence buildingI do not provide weight loss as the primary focus in care.
