Satyam Yoga & Wellbeing Centre (Chesterton)

Anna brings with her a lifelong fascination for yoga, having first encountered the practice as a young child. This early introduction sparked a journey that has woven through her life, leading to a consistent daily practice over the last ten years.Anna is a secondary school teacher by profession, where she initially started sharing her love for yoga by running classes for her colleagues and pupils. Her approach to teaching is grounded in making yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their experience level. Anna is particularly skilled in Vinyasa yoga, holding both 200-hour and 300-hour qualifications. Her motivation for teaching stems from a desire to deepen her own practice and to empower others to explore yoga as a path to personal and physical wellbeing. Anna's classes offer a welcoming atmosphere, where students are encouraged to find their own strength and flow at a pace that suits them. She emphasizes connection with breath and body awareness, as she invites students through a balanced flow of strength-building and more restorative shapes.  Anna values the sense of community that yoga can create, aiming to make her classes a space where everyone feels supported and connected. Her teaching is infused with a soulful touch, often incorporating themes that invite reflection on how yoga can offer insights into our emotional lives and broader personal aspirations. Her classes are an invitation to explore yoga not just as a physical practice, but as a journey towards understanding oneself and building community.
