

Beginners Pilates with Hannah Ford (M0426) Mondays 7:30pm - 8:30pm 13 Apr - 18 May (6 classes) All new students will be required to complete a brief telephone assessment with the teacher to ensure the course is suitable for their needs and abilities. Please call us on 01462 678 804 to arrange this. This beginners Pilates course is designed to introduce you to Pilates in a clear, supportive and accessible way. Sessions focus on learning the fundamentals of Pilates, including breath, alignment and core stability, helping you to build strength, mobility and body awareness safely. Hannah teaches at a steady, approachable pace, breaking movements down clearly and offering guidance to help you feel confident as you learn. Exercises are taught progressively, with time to explore technique and understand how movements support posture, joint health and everyday movement. This course is suitable for those new to Pilates, returning after a break, or looking to build a strong foundation before moving on to other classes. Pilates is a body conditioning programme which helps build strength, flexibility, control and endurance – emphasising alignment, breath and development of a strong core. After obtaining a degree in Psychology, Hannah trained as an Occupational Therapist and worked in the NHS for many years providing physical rehabilitation for adults with complex neurological, orthopaedic, cardiac and other conditions. Following the birth of her children, Hannah trained as an instructor with Body Control Pilates and has completed her Level 3 Matwork qualification. A regular runner, she is passionate about the benefits of Pilates – whether for rehabilitation, prevention of injury or maintenance of physical fitness.
Additional Information Occasionally, classes may be led by a substitute tutor. Please bring your own Yoga/Pilates mat. Classes with fewer than 5 students maybe be cancelled and refunded. Payments and Refund Information All courses must be paid for in advance before the block begins. You have the right to cancel your booking up to 7 days before the course start date. In this case, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future course. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course begins are non-refundable. Missed courses are non-refundable and non-transferable once the block has started. We’re unable to offer catch-up classes if you miss a session.
