Yoga NoHo Center
Movement has been an important element throughout my entire life. Through dance, fitness training, weightlifting, and embodied movement, I was able to recognize its’ innate nature and healing potential. After years of strength training, I realized I was missing an important element. I slowly started to incorporate yoga into my routine. When I began taking classes at Yoga NoHo, I grew a deep respect and love for the practice. A practice that has unknowingly been a part of me since I was a child. I had found the missing piece and knew I had to learn more. After years of studying the mind for my bachelor’s degree in psychology, it was important for me to find a way to include the body as well. As a current graduate student of Mind-Body Medicine, my studies now entail all aspects of yoga and mindful movement, along with various other modalities that honor the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. I was very excited to take the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Karen and the Yoga NoHo Center team, as their training offers a deeper training than other studios and became a profound part of my life. I am thrilled and honored to be part of the Yoga NoHo Center team and to be able to share this practice with you.
