About the Class

Yin Yoga is a restful, spacious practice. Students are guided into supported postures that generally last for several minutes. The longer, passive hold time cultivates the opportunity for a meditative state and maintains or restores range of motion through gentle stretching. Expect to use many props to aid the body in fully resting during practice. Dress a little more warmly than in a Vinyasa class, you will be on your mat/floor for most of the class. This class is ideal for those new to yoga.
