"I took my first yoga class hoping it would help with tight hamstrings from distance running. After my first class, I was surprised at how good I felt in so many ways. That was in 2009, and from then on I continued to practice on a regular basis. By the end of 2012, I enrolled in a yoga teacher training certification class. The purpose was to learn more about the ancient traditions and to improve my own practice. In 2013, I received my teaching certificate and have been an instructor since. My teaching philosophy is that I practice what I teach. Mostly traditional poses that flow together allowing deep breathing. I believe that yoga can benefit any student at any level who is just willing to try"
