Scar work and scar tissue mobilization uses various techniques and tools to assist in releasing adhered scars. This work enables freer movement, improved range of motion, and can diminish feelings of pain, pulling or a “stuck” sensation in and around the scar area. NOTE: This can be slow and very detailed work, and the entire session may be devoted to the scar area and surrounding tissues. You may be asked to move into different ranges of motion to assist with the mobilization of scar tissue.
