MAGIC AT THE PYRAMIDS  Immerse yourself in the rich history and breathtaking landscapes of Egypt with our unique and carefully curated retreat, journeying from the pyramids of Cairo to the serene oasis of Fayoum. Find peace and inspiration in these sanctuaries of the soul, where majestic landscapes and ancient wonders guide you on a path of inner discovery and connection. Day 1-5, Heading to Cairo, a captivating and bustling capital. Rich in history, it is also called “Oum el Dunya” in Arabic, which means “the mother of the world.”, the cradle of civilization. Settle into your home for your retreat, a house with a direct view of the first wonder of the world: The great pyramid. *SWOON* Expect a true immersion into the heart and history of the pyramids, and an intimate encounter with Cairo’s soul and traditions. Throughout our days in Cairo we will explore the majestic Pyramids of Giza in private with your experienced Egyptologist who will bring their history and mysteries to life. Enjoy an exclusive visit inside the Great Pyramid of Kheops, a rare opportunity to walk through its ancient chambers and marvel at one of the world’s most extraordinary wonders. This immersive experience offers a unique glimpse into Egypt’s fascinating past. Ending that evening with a powerful sound bath at the base of the pyramids. MAGIC. We will also spend a day in the a in the soul of Cairo with a deep dive into its bustling souk and historic district, followed by an exceptional Sufi dance performance specially arranged for that evening. Our final night in Cairo will be a creative one!  Working with an Egyptian artist to create our own symbols with a meaning special to us, you will also have the opportunity for this to be tattood if you wish! Day 6-8: This day marks a beautiful transition leave behind the vibrant energy of Cairo and the Pyramids to enter the serene oasis of Fayoum. Surrounded by palm trees, lakes, and desert landscapes, you’ll shift from the bustling urban life to the peaceful rhythms of the countryside. This different side of Egypt promises deep relaxation and tranquility, offering a perfect balance to your journey. Experience an authentic exploration of the Fayoum Oasis and its shimmering lakes, which appear like mirages in the desert. Discover this unique landscape on horseback during a sunset ride, immersing yourself in the natural beauty and tranquility of the oasis. Our mornings begin with free time to enjoy yoga and take part in a pottery workshop, connecting with the artistic traditions of the local village before setting off on your desert horse ride adventure. Joining our retreat leader & yoga Teacher, Caitlin E500 YACEP RYT on retreat is the insanely talented photographer Alexandra Rostad who will be on our journey capturing the magic and poetry of Egypt, so you can be fully present throughout your retreat! You will have access to all professional photos and a chance for your own mini sessions with her if you wish!
