About the Class

Tai chi is an ancient martial arts technique that enhances physical and mental health, as well as improves posture, balance, flexibility, and strength. Tai chi is a series of flowing and meditative like movements. Tai chi can boost mood, alleviate pain, strengthen the immune system, and improve heart health. In this class you warm-up the body and then practice learning the Yang style 24-Forms. This class will build on itself and over time you will learn the 24-forms. This class is for all levels and is good for people of all ages. 

Special Instructions

No street shoes are allowed to be worn in the studio. It is recommended to buy Tai chi shoes, which are flat and have rubber soles and help in moving in sliding motions. You can also just wear socks.
