About the Appointment
This is a simple, yet profound treatment that works specifically on balancing and stabilizing the activity of the mind. Warm, Dosha-specific oils and herbs are continuously streamed over the Ajna Chakra or third eye, taking the participant on a journey deep within. Shirodhara is the signature treatment for all nervous system, anxiety, tension, depression, and mental disorders. Clients can expect to lie comfortably on a warm massage table and begin their journey with marma therapy, calming essential oils and guided meditation, followed by a 30 minute Shirodhara treatment, and conclude with a luxurious scalp massage to reawaken the body and mind. Special Instructions
For any of our body therapy appointments, we recommend the following: * a body therapy form must be completed prior to the appointment when booking for the first time. You can complete the form here. * arrive with an empty stomach * arrive with clean hair (not wet), we will refuse service if your hair is wet. Our shiro machine can not have water in it. * arrive with a clean face (no make-up) * we recommend avoiding caffeine on the day of your service * wear loose, comfortable clothing for after your treatment * arrive 5 min early to use the restroom * you may choose to bring a hair towel to cover your head after the shirodhara Cancellation Policy: We love serving you here at SimpleVeda! We are dedicated to your health journey and put a lot of time, attention, and resources into our treatments and consultations. Please understand that we are making a commitment to reserve this time for you and we appreciate you doing the same. Due to the length of these appointments, they are only available a few times a month. Therefore, if you cancel your appointment you're inhibiting the ability of others to take this appointment. We ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule that you do so with ample notice. Please call by 10 a.m. two (2) working days prior to your scheduled appointment. If an appointment is canceled after 10 a.m. two (2) working days prior to your scheduled appointment you will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. If an appointment is cancelled the same day as your scheduled appointment, the full amount of the service will be charged.
