About the Class

Beginning Qi Gong This one-hour class will introduce the basic warmup exercises of a Qi Gong practice.  Qi Gong is a healing modality that uses breath, focus and movement to move energy throughout the body.  In fact, there are hospitals in China where the only medicine used is Qi Gong exercises.  We will cover the warmups and will teach a simple form. We will be doing some coiling and spinal movements.  The class will focus on proper alignment, breathing, and focus.  All the movements will be explained, demonstrated, and practiced.  

Special Instructions

This class is practiced barefoot.  Wear comfortable, breathable clothing and bring water.
