My background is that I am from Sterling Heights, Michigan and grew up active in soccer, dance, and baton twirling. I competed in baton twirling for over 12 years, performed as a Feature Twirler for the Detroit Lions for 5 years, and currently stay engaged as a certified judge.  I graduated from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan with my master’s in physical therapy.  I moved to Green Bay for my current job at Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine and have been there since 2002!  I love to teach and be involved with students and clinical education.  Since 2012, St. Bernard Parish in Green Bay is where I call home and where I attend as a re-vert to the Catholic faith.  I participate as an Usher and Parish Council member and am also active with the Green Bay area Cursillo movement.  Thanks to DVDs I purchased at the local Catholic bookstore, I was introduced to Pietra Fitness.  Not long after that – and with some nudging by the Holy Spirit - I signed up to become an instructor and received my final certification at all three levels (Gentle, Level 1, and Level 2) in November 2019!  I look forward to this journey with you - mind, body, and soul!
