For online lessons use this meeting link: https://join.skype.com/tVsubCfXKIKKa) How long have you been playing, and what level of RCM have you achieved?I have been playing since 1995 and I have achieved Gr. 9 RCMb) What method do you prefer to teach in, if any?I mostly use the Alfred and Faber series of books when teaching piano, but I believe in education through entertainment. I also believe in open dialogue with the student which usually results in questions and experimentation at the piano.c) What ages and levels do you enjoy teaching the most?I have taught as young as 4 years old, and as old as 68 years. Each age range has their own unique challenges and advantages. I like teaching beginners because there are more games that are advantageous for that level.d) What is something creative that you do in lesson which is unique to you?I use games to teach the rudimentary concepts and for more advanced students I use my historical and theoretical knowledge of music to make the pieces come alive for my students. As well I use my knowledge of human anatomy and psychology to guide my students into their best possible selves. e) Three words that your students would describe you as.I believe those words would be nice, calm, and curious.
