My name is Arma and I am happy to teach students between the ages 7-12! I have been teaching Beginner - Level 1 piano to kids since 2019 (roughly 4 years of experience), and have been playing the piano for over sixteen years with an RCM Level 10 skill. In addition to this experience, I graduated from Cawthra Park Secondary School in the Regional Arts Program in Mississauga as a Piano Major with numerous musical extracurriculars, and I continue my university life as a piano volunteer at music ensembles. As a piano teacher, my goal is for students to not only learn how to play the piano but also develop an admiration for music in the most general terms. Likewise, I hope to introduce a sense of self-compassion to an individual from a young age to become a disciplined and kind person for future generations. With this philosophy, I want to create a positive space throughout my job as a piano teacher, and I'm looking forward to providing this kind of safe environment.
