a) How long have you been playing the piano, and what level of RCM have you achieved?I have been playing the piano for 11 years. I have my ARCT diploma, which includes the ARCT piano performance, ARCT harmony, ARCT analysis, and ARCT history.As a provincial finalist three times in a row for senior piano, I have won numerous scholarips and awards at multiple institutions and festivals.b) What method do you prefer to teach in, if any?I like to teach all aspects of music instead of one at a time. I try to show the connections of pieces to music theory while training both my student’s ear and sight reading.c) What ages and levels do you enjoy teaching the most?I enjoy teaching all ages and levels.d) What is something creative that you do in lessons which is unique to you?I give my students the freedom to bring in pieces they wish to learn. I also try to give ideas rather than instructions for them to develop their own interpretation.e) Three words that your students would describe you as.My students would describe me as encouraging, patient, and responsible.
