Anne Carlson graduated from Saint Xavier University with a Music Education degree and Piano Performance minor. She attended VanderCook School of Music earning a certification in Orff (a new teaching method in music). She has been teaching private lessons for over 25 years and taught General Music (preschool through 8th grade) at a private school for 13 years in Chicago. In addition to her teaching experience, Anne accompanies for middle school and high school plays in the Chicago area and performs at weddings for family and friends.
