The Hive Fitness and Yoga Studio

From a very early age Chris discovered his passion for health and fitness. His career path was set, he just had to find his place within the industry that represented his values and matched his intensity as well as his soft side. The search took him all over the industry leaving him with a unique perspective on movement, how the body works and how to optimize both body and mind through a multitude of modalities learned throughout the years. His health and wellness career began with a co-Op at a local hometown gym Elite Fitness which turned into a 9 year learning experience where he gained knowledge of how the industry, as a business worked. From there he began teaching his own classes in disciplines such as bodyweight, weight training, kettlebell, HIIT, running, Obstacle Course Racing as well as various Yoga/movement style blends. His athletic pursuits have been vast. His passion of human optimization and challenging himself has led him through many high level Obstacle Course Races of all terrain and lengths which earned him a spot in the World Championships back in 2016 where he raced against the world's top athletes. He also won Gold in Agatsu's Kettlebell Sport competition in the Snatch event in 2015. He enjoys pushing himself and the limits of what we think our bodies can handle. Chris has held certifications in many different disciplines over the years including Personal Training, Kickboxing, Kettlebell, Sport Nutrition and more recently, Breathwork as it pertains to meditation/yoga and higher levels of consciousness. His passion is to help others feel empowered. To feel strong and confident in any situation and to realize one's own potential. He does this through relentless experimentation with himself and clients alike, using what works and discarding what doesn't as valuable lessons and ques to future clients. He strives to teach his clients how to be self sufficient when it comes to their health and fitness so they are confident enough and motivated enough on their own to create a life they truly love.
