Artistic Movement Series: Lines in Motion with Lydia - Performance Series

About the Event

Inspired by the creative process of contemporary dance companies, this performance project is about building a piece together. I’ll act as your artistic director — shaping the vision, guiding the structure, and creating a container for your ideas and movement to come to life. This is about exploration, creativity, and connection — with your body, the music, each other, and of course, the pole. Dance experience is not required. What matters most is curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and openness to contributing your voice to the work. We’ll play with movement prompts, flow exercises, and improvisation to develop material as a group. This is for anyone wanting to grow their confidence in movement, develop their personal style, and experience what it’s like to create within an ensemble. Together, we’ll create an original piece for performance at TGISS on June 21st — shaped by all of us.
