Welcome to the Student Wellness Centre (SWC) at Fanshawe College
in London, Ontario! The doors opened to this state-of-the-art
facility on May 8, 2017. The dream to build this facility started
more than 7 years previous to opening and many were involved in the
research, planning, designing and building. The Fanshawe Student
Union contributed more than $27,000,000 of student money toward the
project and the facility will continue to be mostly funded by
student money.
The SWC has 3 floors of wellness, health and fitness activities,
programs and services. All full-time students at the London
campuses (including Downtown and London South locations) have
universal access, included in their tuition. All other students
(i.e. part-time, apprenticeship, those at satellite locations,
etc.) have the opportunity to purchase a membership at the same
rate as the full-time students.
