In this class, students will typically learn a sequence of acrobatic movements in which one person lifts and/or holds their partner above the floor. Students will learn a variety of movements including overhead lifts, counterbalances, dynamic tosses, and assisted tumbling moves. Prerequisites: In order to be successful in this class, students should be comfortable lifting or being lifted overhead and inverting. A foundation with tumbling, dance or handstands is helpful.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS Arrive 5-10 minutes early for check-in if you did not pre-register for your class. Wear athletic clothing FREE of any zippers. We caution against excessively baggy clothes or clothes that expose the back of the knees or mid-section. Remove jewelry from fingers, wrists, neck, and any earings that could tear or become caught. Bring a water bottle.
