Special Education teacher by day, yoga instructor by night. After pregnancy, I suffered from unbearable back pain and through various means (3 long years), I was not able to alleviate my discomfort. With (hot) yoga, I immediately found a solution to manage my pain. With consistent practice of asanas, breathwork, meditation, mind body connection (to name a few), I uncovered healing of the body, mind, and soul. 6 years later, yoga (and my yoga community) continues to guide me to be the best version of myself in ways I did not know I needed.We are all on different yoga journeys. Yogi’s my hope is that you can meet yourself where you are and come to love yoga so much that it spills into your everyday life. That you find the benefits are not just physical but also in ways unseen.
