Ken Scott Fitness
Ken is a well known figure in the fitness industry on the national level. After many years working as a professional dancer, Ken fell in love with the study of human movement and physiology. Beginning his career as a fitness instructor and Personal Trainer in 2001, Ken dedicated his studies to become a human movement analyst, specializing in cardiovascular training, weight loss and post-physical therapy rehabilitation. His work is devoted to helping people find that inspiring and empowering connection to their own body through a holistic approach to lifestyle and movement therapy.Certified by both the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM™) and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA™), Ken currently teaches all formats of dance both for fitness and for stage, indoor cycling, TRX™, Strength and Athletic Conditioning, HIIT, Barre, Foam Rolling for therapy, Senior Fitness, and Bootcamp. As a Master Trainer and Educator for fitness professionals, Ken has worked as a presenter and educator across the U.S. at fitness conventions, certifying teachers in internationally renowned fitness formats and brands including BOSU™, Barre Above™, Tabata Bootcamp™, Balletone™, Fluid Strength™, Gliding™, Extreme HIIT Chaos™ and more.Ken dedicates every class to helping participants find enjoyment through movement and provide a place for people to use their bodies as a means to improve their lives from the inside out. His slogan “Fitness with a Purpose” refers to the idea that “being fit” should not be its own goal, but rather the reflection of an ongoing lifestyle that is enjoyable, respectful and well informed with the best proven methods to inspire and get results.
